Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Deep red hue, almost opaque. Fruit aromas, both red and black, lead into herbal sage and basil. Toasty oak in the nose adds a caramel richness. Full berries and cherries explode in the mouth.
Food Pairing Notes
Round and full, this wine is big with a perfect balance that it will stand up to a nice rib-eye steak. At the same time, it can adapt to almost any situation.

Reading your description hints of "Alchemy in a bottle." WTH? I've bought many bottles in the past for my Professors. They averaged at $15 each, why so costly?

Wow, Filmtress, I wish my students would give me Dreaming Tree wine! Cost is due to it being reserve, I'm sure.

I'm with filmtress. I'm a wino, with taste, so I'm always looking for a bargain on something great. I'm not going to give dreaming tree an excuse for them, to qualify the price.

Unfortunately Dreaming Tree is a bit misleading, it is part of Constellation brands, which is one of the largest wine companies in the world, so it is not just the little side Dave Matthews project. While I am sure they do a great effort towards making this wine, I am disappointed to find that they are part of a conglomerate that is tainting the wine industry.

This wine would be a 50.00 or even 60.00 dollar bottle if not for the people producing it. The grapes come from some pretty stellar areas and I feel lucky to have tasted this wine.

I don't have a rating because I haven't tried it because you don't ship to Louisiana. I would like to buy a bottle for my son in law who is a huge Dave Matthews fan and wants a bottle of this wine but I don't know how to get it for him. Any suggestions?

Great stuff. You can't get it in some states because state laws simply prohibit alcohol deliveries to residential addresses without certain licensing. Ask a friendly liqour store owner to do it for you. Sometimes.

Love the cab sav & the blend. Get it at the local wine stores here! :) I personally don't get the whining about spending the extra $20 for a sure thing reserve. I mean they aged it an extra year in french oak barrels for goodness sakes! Some people should go back to Boones Farm or Yellow Tail P-water.
